Sass Rocket Studios Review & GIVEAWAY!

I have to admit, over the last couple of months I have become a bit of an ETSY junkie. Starting my blog has opened my eyes to a wealth of talented artisans all over the world. Sass Rocket Studios is one etsy shop I am glad to have found. I happened to win a blog giveaway (shout out to Brittany over at Love Stitched) which was sponsored by Lindsay at Sass Rocket Studios a little while back and won this fabulous diaper clutch and super funky drool bib.

Both items are made (as if you can’t tell) from graphic and hip prints – which I love! The stitching is definitely of professional quality and she pays extra attention to those cute details I oogle over – zebra lining in the diaper clutch AND a fab orange minky backing to the drool bib.

As I have mentioned before, whenever I come across a fab Etsy Shop I’m always curious about the shop’s creator/designer so here’s a little about Lindsay from Sass Rocket…

Lindsay is a wife and mom to a “wonderful, crazy, sassy girl” who will be turning 6 later this month. She started an Etsy shop with only baby items, but soon expanded to include the items she now sells. This self-admitted “organization freak” named her shop Sass Rocket Studios because she felt it best described her and her products – love the name!

While ‘flipping’ through Lindsay’s shop’s listings I was instantly drawn to an item I had NEVER heard or seen tell of before – A TAMPON CLUTCH. Yes, you read right, a tampon clutch… genius!

If you have ever, even once in your life, discreetly slipped a tampon up your sleeve or tried to stuff a pad or panty liner into you pant pocket you can understand the *need* for something like this. And what about those days when you don’t have any pockets? Have you ever gone to pull something out of your handbag only to find some sort of feminine hygiene product either stuck to your wallet or falling out when you grab your pen? The solution – the tampon clutch!

Of all the fab prints and fabric combinations to choose from, here is a pic of the clutch I chose for review.

It’s a pretty simple and slender design allowing for you to carry both tampons and panty liners in one place. And as you can see from the picture, the fabric combination is great. The detail of the top stitching and pearl snap is a great addition to this highly functional piece. Here are a 2 pictures of some of her other Tampon Clutches.

During my time of *need* I popped the clutch into my handbag and was off. No worry that something would mistakenly fall out when going to pay for my purchase! Not only that, but it really cleans up the amount of “stuff” I have floating around in my bag that usually causes me to be forever digging for my keys and lip balm.

For those of you in an office setting, and for me when I return to teaching in the fall *sniff, sniff*, this will be a great asset on trips to the ladies’ room – no need to lug your entire handbag! Lindsay also suggests leaving one in your car or desk drawer so you’ll always be prepared! There’s a lot to be said for peace of mind in my opinion! Although the clutch can hold up to 4 tampons on the one side, I chose 2 fewer tampons and actually tucked an eyeliner pencil and mini cover-up stick in mine with NO problems!

I just can’t rave about this product enough… things that make my life easier are always a win with me, but things that make my life easier and ‘funkier’are things I want to tell everyone about!! In fact, I love Sass Rocket Studios so much that I purchased this cute little number…
