Riding the Wave?

It has become apparent that another "baby wave" is hitting and this time... I am NOT on it! Like most things, baby 'hatching' seems to come and go in waves - at least around here! Within our family and group of friends, we rode the first 2 waves... first we had twins in 2005 and then a third girl in 2008. As this wave begins (we've already heard from 2 friends and their upcoming bundles - and it's only March!), we will watch from the shore.

Does this make me happy? Um, well, when I remember the first smiles, sleeping on the chest and baby yawns (they are amazing!) I get a little sad. BUT, then I remember the sleepless nights, crackled nipples (bit of a learning curve there!) and laundry. Our time with newbies is over so I'm happy to watch this time... there's something kinda nice about sitting back and watching people experience new things - been there, done that!

We have 3 bright, beautiful, healthy girls who amaze me everyday. Our 'wave' these days includes the struggle for independence, the desire to wear 'make up' and the ability to realize that "relax" means stop arguing with your sister and just give her the marker she's asking you for!

Hey Kady!
Nice to meet you! :) Well, let me first say that I love your blog! It's so cute :) You are a better blogger than me--lol! I'm just an amateur. I found that giving a little incentive (like the 10% DISCOUNT), that helps. But that is up to you :) If you find anything else let me know! :) Good luck! :)

Sincerely,
Aly (Kinder Keepsakes)

I'm so with you, there! I have a 3.5 year old and a 2 year old with 2 sisters who are pregnant. I'm so done, and so happy to watch from the sidelines this time! :) My hats off to you for having more than 2 kids. I don't know how anyone can handle more than 2. And you had TWINS! Amazing! BTW - your newest follower from FF.
